AFS Camp training (2012-09-22)

Really slow orienteering near Stange with Thibaut while on an AFS camp. Took forever to persuade the camp leaders to let me run in the forest, because they thought I would get lost. I was like “Do you know who you are talking too?” When I did have permission a leader had to run with me, so it was really slow, but at least I got some orienteering in. Really nice terrain, lots more rocks than around Verdal. 3 Was quite tricky and I wasn’t sure where we were but the leader said we had to go back right then, so I didn’t get a chance to properly relocate. Wasn’t far away from it though. Found a proper control with Emit and everything on the way to 10. Wish we could have been part of that training. Next time I will bring my head lamp so I can sneak off night training all night.
