Very strange run. I felt like my compass was always leading me astray at every control as it never was stable. Got pulled by the detail to 3 and made a parallel error. Stupid routechoice to 5 when i should of gone straight. Not sure why the compass was so far off to 7. when taking a bearing to 10, I got caught up by a hill to the left without realising I had turned so much off bearing. After making that mistake, I didn't see that I was running to 12 until I reached the vegetation but then misread the contours and ran astray. The rest of the course was fairly clean, except 17 where I misread a depression for a hill and to 21 which where my bearing was slightly off. Gps looks fairly decent for many controls, so as a training weekend, this looks fairly successful! I feel like the vagueness of the terrain may of been putting me off
